1. Applicability of This Notice

The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), applies only to businesses that meet specified legal thresholds. Brick & Beacon may not be subject to every requirement in every circumstance. We provide this page to explain our practices and to facilitate privacy choices where applicable, including when we voluntarily honor a request.

2. Do We Sell or Share Personal Information?

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, certain advertising, analytics, social-media, or similar technologies used on or in connection with our website may disclose identifiers, device information, or internet activity to third parties. Depending on the technology, the parties’ roles, and applicable law, some disclosures may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising even when no money is exchanged.

3. Your Right to Opt Out

Where applicable, you may direct us not to sell or share your personal information. Once we receive a valid opt-out request, we will stop covered sale or sharing associated with you and will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months, unless a different period is permitted by law.

5. Global Privacy Control

California law recognizes certain user-enabled opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”). If your browser or browser extension sends a recognized GPC signal, we will process it as required by applicable law for the browser or device from which the signal is sent. Because GPC is generally device- and browser-specific, you may need to enable it separately on each browser and device you use.

6. Timing and Confirmation

Where the CCPA applies, we will process an opt-out request as soon as reasonably feasible and no later than 15 business days after receipt. We may notify service providers, contractors, or other relevant parties as required and will confirm when the request has been processed when contact information is available.

7. Verification and Accounts

You do not need to create an account to submit an opt-out request. We generally will not require identity verification for an opt-out request, but we may ask for limited information needed to identify the personal information associated with you. Other privacy requests—such as requests to know, delete, or correct information—may require identity verification as permitted by law.

8. Authorized Agents

An authorized agent may submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may contact you directly to confirm that you authorized the request, as permitted by law.

9. Children Under 16

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

10. No Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Exercising an opt-out right will not result in a denial of services, a different price, or a different level of service, except where permitted by law.
