California Privacy Policy

This California Privacy Rights Notice supplements the Brick & Beacon Marketing Privacy Policy. It applies to California residents only to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), applies to Brick & Beacon Marketing, LLC (“Brick & Beacon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the Personal Information at issue.

This Notice does not create rights beyond those provided by applicable law. “Personal Information” and other capitalized terms have the meanings assigned under the CCPA where applicable.

1. Categories of Personal Information

Depending on how you interact with us, we may have collected the following categories of Personal Information during the preceding 12 months:

Identifiers, such as name, business name, postal address, email address, telephone number, IP address, and online identifiers;
Customer-record information, such as contact, account, billing, and transaction information;
Commercial information, such as services considered or purchased, campaign selections, and client relationship history;
Internet or network activity, such as browsing activity, interactions with our website or advertisements, cookie identifiers, and referral information;
Approximate geolocation derived from an IP address or device;
Professional information, such as job title, employer, industry, and business responsibilities;
Audio or communications information, such as call recordings where notice and consent are provided, meeting notes, emails, and other communications; and
Inferences drawn from the information above to understand interests, likely marketing needs, or campaign performance.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive Personal Information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about individuals. If we process sensitive Personal Information, we limit its use and disclosure to purposes permitted by applicable law.

2. Sources of Personal Information

We may collect Personal Information directly from you; automatically through our website and marketing technologies; from our clients when providing services on their behalf; from referral partners, vendors, advertising and analytics providers; and from public or commercially available sources.

3. Business and Commercial Purposes

We may use Personal Information to respond to inquiries; provide and improve services; manage client and vendor relationships; operate advertising, analytics, email, social media, direct-mail, and local-marketing campaigns; personalize communications; process payments; maintain security; prevent fraud; comply with law; and exercise or defend legal claims.

4. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose the categories described above to service providers and contractors, advertising and measurement partners, analytics providers, CRM and communications platforms, direct-mail and fulfillment partners, payment and accounting providers, professional advisers, business transaction participants, and government or legal authorities when required.

When we process Personal Information on behalf of a client, we generally act as a service provider or contractor and process the information according to the client’s instructions and our agreement with that client.

5. Sale and Sharing

We do not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. Some disclosures involving advertising cookies, pixels, or similar technologies may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, even when no money is exchanged.

Where the CCPA applies, California residents may opt out of applicable sale or sharing through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or by contacting us using the information below.

We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age.

6. Your California Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable exceptions and verification requirements, California residents may have the right to:

Know the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected;
Access information about the sources, purposes, and recipients associated with that information;
Correct inaccurate Personal Information;
Delete eligible Personal Information;
Receive a portable copy of certain Personal Information;
Opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information;
Limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive Personal Information, where applicable; and
Receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

7. How to Submit a Request

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, locate responsive records, and protect against fraudulent requests. If we cannot verify a request, we may be unable to fulfill it. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Authorized Agents

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law. We may require proof that you gave the agent signed permission, ask you to verify your identity directly with us, or ask you to confirm that you authorized the request.

9. Financial Incentives

We do not currently offer financial incentives or price or service differences in exchange for the collection, sale, or retention of Personal Information.

10. Data Retention

We retain each category of Personal Information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice and our Privacy Policy, including to provide services, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights.

11. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Notice periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the revised Notice on this page and update the “Last Updated” date.
